Merry Christmas to all of you out there celebrating! I’m at my sister’s house for the weekend with 6 children who are presently shaking presents and getting ready to decorate gingerbread houses.
This video is a new tradition of advent activities we have started in our family this year. You can read more about them here.
Other traditions unique to our family include making Christmas tree cupcakes for school classmates, putting together a 1,000 piece puzzle, playing with the wooden nativity set, and watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Most bloggers take off the week between Christmas and New Years but I will check in with a couple of posts for my December Daily, Project Life, and discuss my exciting (and intentional) plans for 2012.
Here’s wishing a safe and joyous week for all of you. – Jenny

Thanks Nicol. My oldest was dying the day I did it, especially when we went to Target. But her friends loved it. Figures!

Oh my gosh I love your nativity set!!! where did you get it????
Jenny
I bought the nativity set in Tucson at a local craft fair. A local businessman made these for his children because he got tired of telling his kids not to touch their fragile nativity set. Unfortunately, he doesn’t make them anymore.
