  • Project Life 2012 Week #20

I probably haven’t said this before but I really kind of love Project Life. Such a simple way to document our full and abundant life. When I have the time to add extra embellishments, I love the creative adventure. But when life is extremely full, my pages are photo heavy. And that’s cool too.

    Here’s week #20:

This special week was highlighted with Rebecca’s 8th grade graduation and her class trip to Disneyland. Such an amazing experience. I found myself a bit overwhelmed with pride and the realization that I wasn’t prepared for this.

    Loving Ormolu flair.

I can never have too many transparencies. And if they remotely look like graph paper, well my heart skips a beat.

Loved the message of this cover to my mini Compendium notepad, so I tore it off. Love. And always love seeing my letters to the kids included in this album.

These girls make my heart melt. Best friends going to different high schools. But since I don’t want to get too sentimental, I’ll get back to PL and say that arrows make me happy.

Loved incorporating pictures from my first photo challenge and linkup. Join us for the next one on Friday, June 15th. You can include them right into your albums.

I simply said, “Show me some spunk” and these 8th grade kids went to work in 2 seconds. I love them.

Insert #1: Design C (holds 12 horizontal 4 x 6 pictures) for graduation and Disneyland. Studio Calico badge and Hammerpress stationary.

Insert #2 (right page): Design D (holds 8 vertical 4 x 6 pictures) and more 3 x 4 horizontal pockets for journaling, ticket stubs, and more pictures of graduation.

Loving this Ferris Wheel and Ormolu flair buttons.

Loving the simplicity of transparencies + (retired) Elle’s Studio numbers + my Mini Stapler.

    Blessings sweet friends – Jenny

I, too, am a lover of Project Life and all things Becky Higgins. However, I fail to remain “caught up”, preferring to print my photos a few months at a time, then hole up in my craft room and sort through them, looking at my calendar and journal and scrapbooking them then. I like your way; I just fail to keep organized enough (yet). That is my goal. Eventually. The weather is just too nice here lately to stay inside. In another month, when Ohio feels a bit like Arizona, THAT’S when I’ll catch up!

LOVE the pages about Rebecca’s 8th grade graduation. The thought of our oldest kids graduating high school in four short years is mind-boggling and stomach-ache-inducing, isn’t it? Sigh…

I love seeing this every week. Alas I am now three weeks behind, but….I finished a Week in the Life album, so I am okay with it. I get so many ideas from what you do-thanks for the inspiration in so many ways! I am planning a grateful post soon and will link up with your blog.
