Thanks Bridget! This is my year to tackle those cookies. Nervous and excited, but I plan on watching those cookie university videos this weekend. No time like the present to get started.

Hey..you should tell your story and post the famous dancing video on her website. I checked out and it looks real easy to do. I know she would be interested in hearing your story.http://ellen.warnerbros.com/show/respond

I like your list of things to do before your birthday. I saw make re-fried beans on your list and I too did this this year from this recipe below. And they are awesome. And I may never buy canned re-fried beans again!!

    Have fun accomplishing your list!!

Thank you so much Jill. I’m wanting to try a couple different types and share them on my blog. I will most definitely give these a try. I have heard that same sentiment that once you make homemade refried beans that you can never go back. Looking forward to that.

I have not made a list but this year I turned 57 in January. I was born in 1957…..this is my Golden Year. So this year I am celebrating every 57 days. I began the year with a photo scavenger hunt in Apalachicola, FL with my five siblings, daughter, grands, nieces and nephews. This week it is a lunch celebration with a high school friend followed by a birthday celebration for a sister in law and niece. My word this year is “reconnect” and I have been busy doing just that. Thank you Jenny for reminding me to always love life.
