I woke up to a gorgeous Sunday morning and wanted to share some of what I’m dreaming about and loving right now.
I just love photobooths. I’m dreaming of owning one like this in my living room. It’ll happen. This wall of photostrips above is from one of my favorite stores, Smeeks, an old fashioned candy store. Doesn’t this wall just make you smile? I would love to take a photostrip of every family that comes to dinner. Wouldn’t that be an amazing minibook?
I just joined the instagram party. I know… where have I been, right? Was appreciative of this post about using Instagram by Becky Higgins. What are your favorite filters? Be sure to share your username in the comments so I can follow you. PS- I don’t even follow anyone yet…Why?…Because I don’t know how.
If you want inspiration regarding exercise and are feeling discouraged, read this.
If you want to laugh until you pee your pants, read this from Tyler at Blue Lily Photo.
Loving, loving this post from one of my internet favorite friends, Nicole Reaves. Isn’t that such a beautiful glimpse into her life?
Just love that my high school friend, John married this girl. I love the passion she has for her health, her 2 children, and John.
Continue to love my sister’s No Filter Friday posts. My niece Skylar has autism and often lacks a filter, and thus her brutal honesty is often refreshing. Check out her latest post here.
Budgeting to buy this in the next month. My friend, MaryAnn uses this to edit her photos…amazing.
Do you have a signature on your text messages? I had never seen them until I read this post.
So inspired by both Liz and Katie, food blogger extraordinaires but dedicated to running and crossfit. Is it wrong to read about them working out while eating a cupcake?
Only 140 days until this starts. Hoping to be in the stands watching.
Guess who just started filling out an application to meet this lady? I’m making a video message just for her in the morning. No time like the present, right?
Just purchased this book. Hoping to start reading it this evening.
And dreaming about making this pie again when I get home from work tonight. Sorry, the pictures aren’t great quality, but don’t let that deter you. If you eat it the first night, it is gooey but terrific for a warm dessert with ice cream (cookie ice cream pazookie). If you refrigerate it overnight, it is like a moist cookie the next day. I prefer the next day.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie
(Adapted from Annabelle’s)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs, well beaten
1 stick melted butter
1 cup minature semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Blend sugar, flour, eggs, butter, and vanilla well. Fold in chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut and stir just until incorporated. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until firm. Depending on your oven, check at 30 minutes. Remember… gooey until refrigerated. I have family members who love it this way with ice cream. I prefer the morning after, as I’m much more of a cookie lover. Extremely simple but well loved.
Have a lovely day.
Blessings sweet friends – Jenny

Becca – Our Crazy Boys
Thanks for the link!
I’m @beccaludlum on Instagram – I LOVE it. Just saw a plugin on a friend’s blog that shuffles her Instagram photos and displays them in her sidebar… I may have to get that!
Jenny
Great idea about instagram photos rotating on the sidebar. The ideas just keep coming. I’ll get on instagram tomorrow and follow you. I think I have found another addiction, second to pinterest.
You’re so welcome about the link. It was such a funny post Becca!
MichelleB
I am michellebostinelos on instagram…I just signed up last week and having way too much fun with it!!! I will look you up
Jenny
Wonderful Michelle. We will be newbies together. I’ll look you up tomorrow when I’m not working. Excited.
Heather
Ahh, yes, chocolate chip pie…this is a favorite at our house, too. Heaven on a pie plate.
I was orienting a new supervisor at work last night, and since I had some extra time on my hands, I went back and read some of your older posts. I knew I loved your blog before, and now I love it even more.
(Hmmm, sounds like a good line for a blogger’s Hallmark card.)
Jenny
I should rename the recipe to Heaven on a pie plate, sounds so much better. So glad you are enjoying my blog – that warms my heart. And that does sound like a little like Hallmark, but remember I am corny and a nerd, so Hallmarky stuff is perfect for me.
Ashley
Love this list of links…you are going to keep me busy all afternoon! I unfortunately don’t have a phone that uses Instagram, but have you seen all the cool ways people are incorporating them into their PL albums?? I’m so jealous, I may just have to print my photos out in squares!
Have a great Sunday!
Jenny
Yes, the instagram pictures with project album are just perfect, especially with all the pictures I take with having 4 kids. Going to try and play a lot with all of these camera apps and try some different printing places as well. Hoping to have an instagram project on Thursday. Enjoy your linky reading!

I love instagram! Another photo app that you might like is pocketbooth. It is like having a photo booth on your iPhone. And is has different styles like instagram. I am 2cats4lola.
Jenny
Thank you Julie. I think my heart just stopped a moment. You had me at photobooth app. So excited to play tonight when I get home.
Nicole
Awesome! What a fun post of links (and thank you for the love) – I will certainly be sitting down to enjoy these tonight while “watching” the Superbowl. HAHA I’m especially excited about the exercise inspiration!
I’m nreaves on Pinterest. You have an iPhone, right? When you open the app, click your username on the bottom right corner. I think one of the first few options is to find your friends (on Facebook and Twitter) and you can see which of your friends is on Instagram. It’s pretty slick.
Hope you figure it out!
Jenny
Thanks Nicole – I was thinking I might have to read a Instagram for Dummies manual to get caught up. So excited about adding this to my PL week. I want to at least try 1!
Just loved that journaling prompt of yours. Amazing.
Liz (Little Bitty Bakes)
Aww, you’re too kind. And go ahead and eat that cupcake while working out. They even out
That pie looks SO good! I’ve been wanting to make a chocolate chip cookie pie for way too long.
Jenny
I’ll have to alter the recipe and add your favorite yogurt to it. I’m sure it will change it up a bit, but that’s never a bad thing to have 2 good chocolate chip pie recipes.

Love this list & I am addicted to instragram (but maybe not as much as pinterest) I am mamaolie on instagram. Following is easy…just click on your profile and you can search for friends or usernames. Oh and the cupcake while watching people work out…totally ok…you burn calories chewing!
Jenny
I’m addicted to pinterest more but the way all the instagram projects are making me so giddy as well. Look forward to playing with them in the morning.
Amberr Meadows
That pie looks delectable, and no, it is perfectly fine to eat cupcakes while reading about others’ working out. At least in my realm
Jenny
Amberr – we are completely thinking along the same lines. Right now while I’m commenting, I’m having a girl scout cookie.
And the pie is so simple, but so delicious.

You got me all teary eyed. John makes it easy to be passionate about life – such a great man who has given me so much – and I feel lucky to have been given so many things. And I have to add to “weekend love” by saying I love that the Internet and the blog-o-sphere allows people like me to develop new and beautiful friendships with folks like you that I otherwise wouldn’t have any other way of keeping in touch with. I am blessed and thank you so much for the love. (ps – I am trying CrossFit in March via a Living Social deal. And will be eating a LOT of cupcakes afterwards as a reward.)
Jenny
You are so welcome and this is well deserved. I have been amazed at how many wonderful friendships I have made on this crazy blog adventure in the past 8 months. It makes the internet feel so incredibly small and personal.
I’m glad we are able to stay connected over the internet and look forward to seeing you, John, and the boys in the future. You are blessed to have each other.
Jamie Walker
First and foremost, I’m new to your blog and I’m totally loving it. You make me smile!
Second of all…oh my goodness, I’m hooked on Instagram (#jnawalker). Absolutely loving it. I just put in my first order of Instagram prints from Persnickety Prints. Can’t wait to see them! And one more thing…that cookie pie looks amazing. I’ll be trying it for sure!
Jenny
Welcome Jamie! Looking forward to really digging into instagram this week and seeing what it is all about! I’ll be sure to follow you.
And enjoy the cookie pie. It’s sinful.-J
Lisa Goren
Thank you for all the inspiration!!! I just keep on adding things to my life list because you just keep giving me more & more ideas!!!!!!
Jenny
That’s the idea Lisa. I hope I live until I’m 200, because I have a feeling that my list is going to grow as I read everyone’s ideas, especially since I just love to learn.
And I hope to do the links like this once a month to show my fellow friends and bloggers some love. Thanks again Lisa!-J
