I challenge you to do one thing today. Take some pictures of your family and/or of your surroundings. Or better yet, download the million pictures you have sitting on your digital camera right now. I guarantee you no matter what is going on in your life, you will feel grateful for something.
Here are just some glimpses of what I am feeling grateful for right now…
…kisses on the mouth
…trying new things for the 4th time
…family
... 13 giggly girls camping in the great outdoors
…hard work that is paying off
… teammates and friends
… grateful for a little munchkin again
…handing the camera to Jeff so that I’m in our pictures too
…seeing life from a different perspective
Take some time to look around and see the blessings that surround you. Even when life seems like the walls are closing in, stop and look at it differently.
Even if you aren’t in the mindset of feeling grateful, I challenge you to do one of the following:
Pick up your camera and look through a lens.
Take 15 minutes to describe what you are experiencing right now with your 5 senses.
Write down a list of everything you are grateful for.
Hit your knees in prayer and ask God to open your eyes and heart to what He wants you to see today.
Whatever you choose to do, I’m certain that if you just look, you will capture a glimpse. What are you grateful for today?

Thankful for…There is not enough time in the day or space in the internet to express the wealth of this answer. So, to you I give the short version. I am thankful most for my family. I have learned that support is one of the vertebre (sp) to living. My daughter who at 13 comes up with the most honest and sincere thoughts to just say, “it’s OK mom, we will be just fine”. My husband who continues to tell me to do what I have to do. I never realized what that meant until now. I am thankful for my friends. The true to the end back up relationship. Always there even if it is an emotional rollacoaster. I am thankful for my friends at church. The inspiration they offer is truely amazing. The different ways of looking at a long road of life is just amazing. Thanks for this time. And…Thanks for being you. The amount of positive energy you have is another thing I am thankful for.
