I want to make 52 different cupcake recipes in the next year. And I have started off strong. I am a fan of a blog called Annie’s Eats and this recipe was requested from my husband for Father’s Day. It starts off with a chocolate chip cupcake, which is my favorite part. Then a portion is removed from the center, and get this- stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough. You are probably thinking “Wow. Can’t get much better.” Well, you are only partially correct. Actually, it is then topped with a yummy frosting, mini chocolate chips, and then the cutest little cookie on top.

Jeff LOVED them. I loved the cupcake portion the best. I would use my own chocolate chip cookie recipe for the cookie that is on top, as I am just partial. But these are divine and now the other 51 cupcakes have a lot to live up to. I also enjoyed my time baking with my 2 youngest helpers.
