I’m getting nervous as my recital is just a little over one hour, but wanted to share a few weekend reading links/blogs from some fantastic sources on the web.
Really liking Lisa’s blog: 100 Days of Real Food. Love her story and resource page. You can read that here. Thanks Kerry for the introduction.
Loved this article from the Wall Street Journal – Are You As Busy As You Think? Read that here. I particularly love this passage:
“Change your language. Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels. Often, that’s a perfectly adequate explanation. I have time to iron my sheets, I just don’t want to. But other things are harder. Try it: “I’m not going to edit your résumé, sweetie, because it’s not a priority.” “I don’t go to the doctor because my health is not a priority.” If these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the point. Changing our language reminds us that time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently.”
And I recently discovered this blog about Britt and her beautiful family who have been traveling the US in an RV since last June. Her blog is entitled In Pursuit of Happiness and I think we might have been separated at birth. Read her latest post here.
And I woke up to our family pictures from Blue Lilly (insert most audible squeal ever)! I had to share at least one and more pictures will be up on Monday.
We are headed to Prescott to spend the day with my sister and her family. Anyone have any special plans this weekend? Hope you do something that fills you with love and adventure!
Blessings sweet friends – Jenny
