Around here life is full of laughter and pigtails.
Around here the kids are grieving the end of the regular baseball season. Actually they are grieving the closure of the snack bar which is only 25 yards away from our back fence.
Around here Ben is enjoying his All Star Cal Ripken practices. And Samantha loves playing at the baseball fields as much as she loves playing at the swimming pool. She has two happy places now.
Around here we are celebrating the 100 degree temperatures at the water park.
Around here we are thrilled that Sam is taller than 36 inches so she can go on some water rides. And my heart was so full as I watched Sam’s older brother and sister showing her the ropes. The dialogue was precious.
Around here I’m thankful for sweet, encouraging teammates.
Around here we are cooking together a lot as a family. I am LOVING it.
Around here Jeff is working really hard networking for his new practice. I am really proud of him and I need to tell him more.
Around here I’m still working part time. I love my coworkers but the 12 hour shifts seem to be getting longer as I get older. But I’m thankful for my job.
Around here I’m looking forward to Jeff taking the day off today to go to the water park with us, 4 little friends, and my sister and her family. Good times.
Around here I continue to be so thankful for all of you.

That water park looks FUN!
We are still in full swing (get it? haha) with baseball season, up until July 3rd. My kids love the concession stand, too!
